Citylabs is a 93,000 sq. ft biomedical centre of excellence located on Oxford Road at the heart of an internationally significant clinical and academic campus, made up of Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and The University of Manchester.
The development consists of the restoration of an existing grade II listed building along with a new build development to the rear, and the two elements will be connected by a glass hub atrium. The biomedical research centre will provide research, laboratory and education space, and networking space for conferences, exhibitions, formal and informal meetings.
Citylabs will function as a biomedical centre of excellence with direct access to the resources and knowledge for the University of Manchester academic campus and the NHS Healthcare Campus. The development will provide grow on space, including laboratory and office space.
